Each day, you’ll dive into Mysore-style Ashtanga yoga, allowing you to progress at your own pace with personalized guidance, whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner. In the afternoons, hands-on therapeutic massage workshops will help you release tension, improve mobility, and gain a deeper understanding of your body mechanics. The evenings will end with relaxing Yin yoga, giving you the space to restore balance and cultivate mindfulness.

With additional time to improve and push your limits, this retreat provides the perfect balance of physical challenge and nurturing care, allowing you to grow, strengthen, and reconnect with your inner peace.

Kuramitsu Yoshiaki, known as Kura, brings over 10 years of teaching experience and a deep understanding of the healing power of yoga. Specializing in Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, Kura combines his expertise in yoga, therapeutic massage, and martial arts to offer a holistic and transformative approach. With a background shaped by his traditional Japanese upbringing and extensive studies in India and Thailand, Kura integrates ancient yoga traditions with modern therapeutic practices, providing a teaching style that promotes self-awareness, physical strength, and inner balance

Welcome to Atelier du Relais, a charming and peaceful haven in the heart of Burgundy, France, now part of our carefully curated selection of retreat venues. Set within a beautifully restored farmhouse, this location offers a perfect blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort.

SCHEDULE DAY ONE *

3:00 p.m | Arrival

Arrival of participants and settling into the retreat space. Take time to get familiar with your surroundings and meet fellow participants.

3:30 p.m | Opening circle and presentation of the retreat.

Kura will introduce himself, share the intentions for the weekend, and guide you through the schedule.

4:30 p.m - 7:30 p.m | Opening yoga session.

This will be a gentle practice to ease you into the retreat experience, helping you connect with your breath and body after your travels.

8:00 p.m | Dinner

A nourishing vegetarian dinner to enjoy together, prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

9:00 p.m - 10:00 p.m | Meditation

Short talk about the organization of the weekend, followed by a brief meditation to calm the mind before bed.

    We organize retreats in groups of 10 to 20 people.
  • What do we eat during your retreats?
    At Kali, meal times are sacred. We believe that well-being starts on the plate, and these moments should be both nourishing and enjoyable. All our retreats prioritize healthy, delicious recipes, designed to fuel your body without sacrificing flavor.
  • When should I book my transport?
    Transport is not included in the retreat price. You can go ahead and book your transport now while opting for cancellation insurance, just in case!
  • I need to cancel my retreat last minute, will I get a refund?
    Our cancellation policy is as follows: if you cancel 30 days before departure, you are eligible for a full refund or a credit for a non-confirmed retreat. After this period, when the retreat is confirmed, we cannot offer refunds. You can subscribe to travel cancellation insurance, as unexpected events (accidents, illness, family emergencies) can occur.
  • I'm a beginner in yoga, can I join a retreat?
    Our retreats are accessible to all levels, unless specified otherwise. Our teachers adapt to each participant and will guide you no matter your experience. However, we recommend trying the specific practice before the retreat to familiarize yourself.
